1. What motivated you to create a book review blog?
I wanted to share information about books I had read and blogging seemed the perfect way to do this. I also love the idea of introducing writers to readers.
2. What do you find most rewarding about book reviewing?
Hearing from someone that they enjoyed a book I recommended.
3. What types of books do you review?
Any fiction pertaining to the paranormal or supernatural. When I first began the blog I centered everything on vampire stories, but that’s no longer the case.
4. In what genre do you consider yourself to have the most expertise?
I have read a considerable number of vampire books throughout the years, but as I mentioned in question 3 I have expanded my horizons to include all paranormal stories.
5. Is there any type of book that you absolutely will not review?
Anything outside the paranormal/supernatural genre.
6. Do you accept submissions from self-published authors?
Yes, all are welcome!
7. Do you accept PDF versions or e-books for review?
I will, although I prefer print.
8. Can an author guest blog for you?
Absolutely! Authors are definitely welcome to do this.
9. Do you host book giveaways?
Yes. In fact there is a monthly giveaway for email subscribers. I have also held other contests.
10. Do you interview authors?
Yes. I have interviewed several authors for the blog
11. Do you ever host stops on an organized book tour?
Yes
12. What is the average turnaround time for a review, from the time the book arrives in your mailbox until the review is posted?
Usually 2 - 3 weeks although it can depend on what else may be going on.
13. Do you cross-post reviews to Amazon or other sites?
I post on Amazon and LibraryThing
14. Will you notify an author by email when a review is posted?
I will if requested.
15. Do you have any specific requirements for review submission?
None
16. Where can authors submit review queries and to whom should they be addressed?
